Purchased this for my partner as a summer gift and he's been making good use of it ever since. The aluminium case makes for a rather smart presentation and he was quite impressed when he first opened it. The tools are well-made and feel noticeably more substantial than the basic set we had before. He's particularly fond of the digital thermometer — says it's taken a lot of the uncertainty out of cooking meat properly, which is always reassuring. The grill mats have been used at nearly every barbecue we've had this summer, mostly for salmon and peppers. The spatula and tongs are his go-to pieces and both have held up well over several uses. Been after a decent barbecue set for a while and this one ticked all the boxes. The aluminium case is the first thing that catches your eye — it's sturdy, looks the part, and keeps everything well protected between uses. The spatula is a good weight with a serrated edge and built-in bottle opener, both of which get used regularly. The tongs are solid and the skewers are long enough to be genuinely useful rather than just decorative. The digital thermometer has become something I reach for every single cook — particularly good for thicker cuts of pork or chicken where you can't always tell by eye. The two grill mats were a pleasant bonus; I've been using them for fish and vegetables and they make a real difference. Everything fits back into the case without any fuss. A well-rounded kit that I'd happily recommend.
